Training Services

It is often said that the most effective form of training is first hand experience, and it quite possibly is. Unfortunately with safety matters, that may mean experiencing the repercussions of an accident in which you had not been aware of your liabilities! Worse still is the realisation that the situation could possibly have been completely avoided with competent safety training in the first place.

Face-to-Face Training
There are dedicated 1st Option safety courses targeted at specific production and crew roles. They are engaging, entertaining and interactive to aid the learning process and include videos and pictures of actual events to demonstrate key points. Specialist topics such as Fire Wardens and First Aid are also available.

All courses are delivered by qualified trainers with extensive production experience.

A safety 'passport' with relevant course stamp validated by the trainer will be issued as evidence of attendance. This is accepted as appropriate safety training by a number of other organisations, including the BBC.
